Parental Alienation Day is April 25th (in the USA at least, it’s often a different date in Australia and other countries).
If you are someone who is affected by PA, then you need to get out and have your voice heard.
Every year, Shared Parenting Organizations plan d Every year, Shared Parenting Organizations plan demonstrations and protests, but often people don’t find out about them until too late, or they are too far away from where they live, and they don’t go. Or, as is the case for people who work, attending a protest/demonstration on a workday is difficult. Plus the Shared Parenting world is not as tightly organized as the ‘Rip-Families-Apart-To-Make-Unethical-Divorce-Lawyers-Rich’ world is. The result is that many people who would like to demonstrate and protest this issue don’t, or can’t. Or at least they believe they can’t…
But there’s a simple solution…
local Family Court Courthouse. Make a sign. It doesn’t matter if it’s Cardboard and a Sharpie. Show up at 9:00 am in front of the courthouse, and protest. Maybe you will meet a friend. Maybe you will be the lone protester practicing your First Amendment Rights. Regardless, you will be doing something. Take a photo of yourself. Send it to your kids, or add it to that box of ‘Stuff-They-Get-At-18-To-Show-I-Didn’t-Abandon-Them-Box.’ If you can’t do either of those, then take your sign and walk to a busy intersection. Whatever you do, get out there on PA Day and be seen!…
Get off your butt and take a stand…
Take a photo of you protesting for your kids. Or your grandkids. Or whomever. Talk about Parental Alienation and how horrible it is. You can do something. There is no excuse for not doing anything.
On April 25, 2022, you will be able to find me in front of the King County Courthouse in Seattle, Washington. Standing there with my sign. Protesting the injustice.
